It’s a fucking nightmare to live in the US today, how the fuck is it that we’re implicitly champions of the industrial world but we fucking failed at having functional homes for people in it? Seriously, you wanna go across the street you need a fucking car to go out your bullshit apartment. You wanna go spend time with friends? You’re a loser if you don’t have wheels. You’re trying to go to that interview? 5 minutes driving, 5,000 hours walking because the only way there is through a freeway and a few streets that don’t have sidewalks. Oh but just take the metro or the bus? They gotta go around the whole fucking city to even make it round to their own station because they were made before the streets were rebuilt to be so car-centric! It’s worse that you have to have a little bit of nepotism in the US because you can’t even buy a fucking car without a car!
