For added context: her family lives in Switzerland where her wife (a movie producer, I think) is lobbying for continued rights for homosexual couples. So Weidel can quite easily not care about the policies of the AfD, as they most likely won't impact her personally.

@painting_squirrel@muenchen.social which is an epic hunk of bullshit, right behind her assertions on how "Germany" should be run. The fact that shes related to Nazis is alone terrifying. Could we actually see in our lifetimes the rise of the #nazi party again?
