Went to the NJ Sheep and Fiber Festival yesterday. It's only a couple miles from my parents' house. I was on a mission for a gemstone green worsted weight yarn. I didn't quite get the color, but I got close. There was shockingly little worsted weight yarn. Everything was fingering. I guess all knitters make socks. But the vendor I found made the yarn out of Bluefaced Leicester wool. And now I'm a snob who cares about which breed the sheep is. It's not as soft as merino. #knitting
