Many here were kind enough to follow my posts about Mom. She passed on Sept. 5, shortly after admission to the best hospice in our city. Mom was ready, beyond ready, to go. Her last days were comfortable, pain-free, and peaceful. In spring we'll scatter our parents' ashes, together, over fields of beautiful wildflowers, back to the earth and the great cycle of days to which we all belong. Closing out a life takes a shocking amount of time & energy, but we're in a good headspace. #3GoodThings
