@mycrowgirl@flipping.rocks Do you know by chance whether firefly DNA ends up in fecal samples? I've always wondered whether they learn to avoid them.

@colinpurrington@flipping.rocks I don’t remember fireflies standing out in any of the bat species tables I was looking at, and that sh/would have caught my eye. But since I was only looking at a handful of bat species, that doesn’t mean they’re not in there! I still have the printouts and I’ll take a look if they pop up in any of the data sets I have in the coming days!
