Made a cam clamp today. Extremely wonky but it was a prototype and also I used the wrong metal bar rod. I’ll probably make more soon and they’ll be better #woodworking

@frew@mastodon.social Oh, one thing I should point out - the flat bar stock I bought a whole bunch of from McMaster sure enough was 1/8 thick by 3/4 wide, but they were in *absolutely no way* square, they were more trapezoidal, and I actually had to take a flat file to square the edge where the roll pin binds to get it to actually bind. There just wasn't enough surface area without filing it a little.
