The lead story broadcast tonight on CBS Evening news? Not the doubling of heating oil prices. Not Rep. Massie's Hegseth impeachment bill. Not follow up on a host of Trump corruption stories, efforts to suppress the vote, or abuses of public edifices like the Kennedy Center. Nope. They're talking about the mistrial of a woman who had a psychotic break and killed her kids. This is Missing White Girl, 2026 edition—the means by which the Ellison-owned CBS avoids covering the failed Trump regime.
