I never look at dates in a CV and don't see the point of even asking. "I was doing hard drugs for an year". Cool, can you still do math though?

Its one of those things where I have never found a single logical reason why anyone would ever care other than exploitation. Its just abusive. Break your back? Family member die? Cancer? “I don’t know, its just the employment gap there… Do you think you could still work through the cancer if it ever came back?”
