Trump has expressed the idea of [canceling midterm elections](https://time.com/7343696/trump-floats-cancelling-2026-elections/), and running for an [unconstitutional third term](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx20lwedn23o). If their solution to dealing with the legality of things like these is "we'll make it legal", then what does the law actually stand for?
As much as I would love my neighbors to the south to have shit-ideas flung at each other in a representative democracy, first you need to deal with the party that'll use any means, inside or outside the law, to hold on to power.
