But in all seriousness: I grew up with: "don't share your personal details online" Nowadays they want to require us to verify ourself every step of the way, to "protect" us from dangerous places(in this case) The solution is SIMPLE: Go after the "dangerous places" and make them safe again, one way or another Because at the end of the day we all know those unsafe places are platforms from #Meta, #Twitter and other big tech STOP ignoring the actual issue and do something @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu

For a long time now we know that platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and such are harmful for kids and adults alike There are plenty of examples where they are slapped on the wrist with a little fine and told "don't do it again pretty please" They fuck up everything with their AI already and in turn you want to punish us and everyone else for their fuck ups again? Like stated before, ACTUALLY do something this time on the source of the issue and not the results Ugh 😫 @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu

@stux@mstdn.social @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu You are right. If we got a dangerous neighbourhood where all lamps are broken and on every corner is a mugger, we used to replace those lamps and send the police to catch the culprits. We don't put barriers on the street and refuse kids entrance.
