@masonporter @tao honestly. I don't think in-person exams are a result of AI, whereas it was the lack of in-person that's a relic of covid era. Plus, it's worse than *any* non in-person assessment has been affected by AI. So the classical homework is also threatened.

@adityakhanna @masonporter @tao the classical homework is, effectively, dead as a means of assessment. Of course, it has tremendous value in preparing for exams in that people who don't do their own homework are screwed when it comes to exams, and I suspect a lot of people are still giving homework in the hope that at least some people are doing it themselves and getting value from it.
