In the USA, retail #electricity purchases accounted for 43% of total residential sector end-use energy consumption in 2021. (Same as in my poll.) #NaturalGas accounted for 42% of residential sector end-use energy consumption in 2021: https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/use-of-energy/homes.php This diverges from my poll (which is at 15%) probably because of two differences: my cohort mostly is Northern Atlantic and my question was on space heating only. ⸺⸺⸺ #hashTags below ⸺⸺⸺ #nuclear #oilAndGas #propane
