@root@possum.city yes, even if it was not, old games had a lot of incentives to waste your time. (being arcades needing you to spend as much money as possible, or console games... needing to justify the steep costs hardware makers put into licensing)

@passocacornio@tech.lgbt action does also have to be padded out, because if a game is 100% action all the time then the action gets boring you can't have peaks without valleys
