Received a verbal warning from Mrs Roach after "imagine Shakespeare used this roundabout", "imagine Shakespeare used that pelican crossing" and the patience-killing "Just imagine us queuing for Anne Hathaway's Cottage in the same way William Shakespeare did".

@FourT4@mastodonapp.uk I see you've adopted a similar approach to me when I visit somewhere with significant history. I have a template. "You see that [insert thing]? [Insert historical person/s] did that." Bad luck on getting a warning.
