On September 11, 1973, the USA organised, coached and financed the murder of participative democracy in Chile. Many thousands murdered, hundreds of thousands had to leave, poverty for the rest being the first neoliberal test ground, kept in balance by the military and fascism. Yes, history is more than who has the better marketing. It's appalling how the USA media (and their copy cats all around the world) use the murder of innocent people in 2001 to hide their atrocities before and after.
