When I was an undergrad physics student, I used emTeX on DOS to write my lab reports in #LaTeX
And yes, emTeX runs great under #FreeDOS 🤓

@freedosproject@fosstodon.org I didn't know about emTeX back then! I'm actually glad because that was one of the motivators for me to get various unixes installed on my PC ... but emTeX would certainly have been the easier route
