He blames a media strategy for the public losing trust in him while *at the same time* failing to mention any things he might actually be proud of (employment rights, renting reform) - even if he'd talked about more arguable things it would have shown some vision... Instead we get nothing... Why is he in politics? What drives him? What does he consider a success? We just don't know... #UKPol

    In a politics where centrism is increasingly being seen as a failure (or a mask for the right to wear to hoodwink us) Starmer tries "not tacking right or left" - yeah, Starmer, we know, you made your choice to tack right and keep tacking right no reason for you to tack any more, just keep sailing straight into the wind from the far right... #UKPol

    @penwing@wandering.shop I think he just wants a lordship then to retire and be Blair's successor to steering the strategic path of the Labour party from the shadows. Just a wild guess though.
