@JoannaCanFixIT@mastodon.social @BenRiceM@mastodon.social you can very much teach kids from an early age how to avoid evil people who try to sell you candy for evil purposes. As a neat alternative I recommend Dark Crystal. It's a neat fantasy thing with cool aesthetics and the series has a few "I'm from this clan!" kind of deal. Or just Lord of The Rings, which honestly is equally kid's friendly without the background of the authors.
