Three weeks remain before we move into the house, and the old neighborhood increasingly reveals more and more flaws. It never was great here, but before and after the elections here in Berlin, people I talked to regularly showed they're quite right or even said they were thinking about voting for the right-wing party. It is quite troubling that this aspect was never revealed previously, and I now question nearly everyone present. These are all parents of children my child plays with regularly, so our exchanges tend to be superficial and these topics are quite rare. So it's not that easy to spot. But in the past, identifying people like that was much easier… I'm glad we're finally moved into our new, much more diverse, neighborhood.
