    @phocks@bne.social When housing was more affordable both major parties were significantly more left wing. We had public housing, owned and managed by Governments which they sold on too lower income families. And tax was much fairer. Under the Menzies Liberal Government for example the highest tax bracket for the wealthy was something like 64%. Today he would be labelled Communist.

    @phocks@bne.social i own my home. i would cheer wildly if all house prices spectacularly collapsed. it's my home, not my investment vehicle. fuck capitalism, fuck neoliberalism
