Recovering Uber driver here.
I drove back in 2017-2018, and at that time Uber was starting to get difficult about reimbursing cleaning fees when some drunk puked in the car, which made fewer drivers want to pick up drunks. I can’t imagine the situation has improved since then.

So wait. You get charged a cleaning fee if you puke in someones car… but uber wont give the cleaning fee to the driver, you know…the person who has to have their car cleaned?
