Why do things this way? Well, artists don't get paid for streams on Bandcamp - that site is strictly a store and streaming is there to help make sales. But if I stream on Qobuz, they get paid a little for that.
Also, Qobuz streams get scrobbled so they get extra visibility on places like last.fm. It's not a lot but it's better than nothing.

As for my own recommendations for Bandcamp Friday, I would like to drop a mention of the local-to-me label/collective Zeevonk, which puts out a lot of tasty lo-fi indie rock and post-punk: https://zeevonkrecords.bandcamp.com I'm enjoying "Season One" by Weird Youth: https://weirdyouth.bandcamp.com/album/season-one But take some time and check them all out. #Bandcampfriday
