FAUN - BLOT (Blót as ritual sacrifices usually involved the killing and cooking of animals, dedicated to a god but also meaning festivities for the community. Meat was boiled in large cooking pits with heated stones like with an NZ hangi. For this song FAUN has set very old texts to music such as the "Heimskringla" from the 13th century and the "Strassburger Blutsegen" from the 11th century.) https://youtu.be/vaT0vAVBCMo #AWiderWorld #JukeboxFridayNight
