@wan@wolfgirl.bar @lichelordgodfrey@poa.st @DrRyanSkelton@wolfgirl.bar @wgiwf@wolfgirl.bar hyperscalers and AI datacenters are just bigger buildings to take advantage of economy of scale. whether their financials will ever make sense are another matter entirely. i suspect many will get sold off in bankruptcy auctions after the AI bubble pops and become a glut of ordinary bit barns that'll drop colocation costs for a while.
