The British standard is the best, obviously. 😀 Well, OK, apart from the supposed caltrop problem, perhaps, though I've lived with BS1363 plugs for nearly 70 years and not yet found it a problem. (Edit to add: …and ring circuits can get back in the 1940s.)
But I'll take any continental European wiring over US any day.
