Hey, all! I'm looking for a remote desktop application that:
* Can work on Linux and Windows (any combination)
* Operates locally (LAN or over a VPN link; potentially no Internet).
* Priced well for occasional home lab use.
* Plays nice in multimonitor-host, single-monitor-client setups (laptop likely). i.e. doesn't mess up window positions when I connect, but has decent tools to manage multiple monitors (ideally more than justscrollbars or multiple windows - kb shortcuts etc.).
Any rec?

@laogeodritt@kind.social maybe something like a kvm? JetKVM or pieKVM. If that's Overkill maybe just VNC with the proper forwarding/firewall rules set up on your router.
