Not defending it, in any way shape or form - but the regular versions of the included Oakley Frogskin sunglasses retail for almost half the price of this “CE”. Not sure exactly why they decided to do this - but I can imagine this (in conjunction with the ludicrously overpriced vinyl set) is intended to milk as much money out of the most die-hard fans as quickly as possible to appease shareholders and recoup the supposed $2b budget.

Fair enough, there will be people buying it regardless. But does the stuff HAVE to look so tacky and cheap? All artwork looks extremely uninspiring. The sun and the manatee look like some lame AI art.

AFAIK, not the first game to sell a tat-collection without a game, and imo, not entirely unreasonable - but before my crucifixion, hear me out: The tat-box is platform agnostic, and can arrive whenever and the customer is playing their game on whatever platform they wish (or, can) when it’s sold separately. If you absolutely need to have the collectible tat, no need to wait (as long). But… 400 units of money for that tat? AbsofuckinglutelyNOPE.

This is cursed. I think a lot of people will be very angry with the game, I predict further outrageous gouging at every opportunity if this is any indicator. Like having-to pay-to-reload-your-gun-kinda gouging. Well, as usual I will wait for the game of the year diamond edition to see.
