@COMPU73E@retro.pizza As someone who indulged in similar media in my teens, like gory anime/VNs and games with realistic violence, it never bothered me.
But GTA almost glorifies it like it's the sole focus to murder random (not out for your head like zombies) "people" looking people.
Unlike clearly distinguishable "un-deads" with lore and different endings to unlock like COD Zombies which, while realistic, gives you objectives to focus on instead while making the zombies more of an obstacle to get there.

@COMPU73E@retro.pizza I hope this makes sense, it was hard retyping this to fit into the word limit lol. But the overall point is that, while most realistic violence in games serves solely as a means to unlock a story, lore etc. while fighting against people actively trying to kill you. While GTA is only an actual fight for survival 10% of the time, with no real purpose. Outside of forced story moments (like the ending(s), I've skipped entire sections of this in GTA V and progressed the story just fine.
