I just had an awesome thing happen medical cost-wise. With my primary health system, I applied for financial assistance, because I fall into their extremely low income category. I just got approved! They will cover 100% of my copays for medically necessary care within the system. This includes doctors, urgent care & ER, imaging, and surgeries. The approval is for a year that can be possibly then renewed, and is going to save me easily over $1k that is just my expenses in the next 3 months alone!
