somewhere I have an old unit PT shirt that has a dude on the back free-fall parachuting beside a falling bomb with an instruction manual and tools also falling with them and the words "the difficult done immediately, the impossible by appointment only"
We were told to stop wearing it because it promoted "exceptionalism"

this prompted a 3 month period where a mate and I would rock up to the officers mess bar, point to our bomb disposal badge and demand "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?" at random dipshits.
