@jerzone@techhub.social I had one in a large crabapple right next to the clothes line a couple years ago. Pretty much anytime I watched it there was always a few owners perched on it not to mention the others coming and going.
I would guess yours is Baldface Hornets. Which I don't recall ever getting stung by. Kinda of amazing since I've been stung by most everything else that can sting in the area...

@lfisk@infosec.exchange I walked back to see if there was any movement. Yeppers. From the girth I'm guessing Baldface as well. It's 15+ feet on other side of a stone wall I'm not popping over for a closer look. ';^)
