English speaking Sci Fi Fans! Do you know the German-French sci fi show Raumpatrouille? If not, than now is the best time to get to know it. Because it's not only Star Trek that is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. Raumpatrouille premiered on 17 September 1966 on German tv. Only a week and a bit after Star Trek. Other than its big sister however, it didn't make it past its initial 7 hour long episodes. Which makes it great for a watch party. So join in if you like! There is a youtube playlist with all 7 episodes with English subtitles. So no excuses! My personal watch plan is this: Thu, 17th - the anniverssary - episode 1 Fri, 18th - episodes 2 and 3 Sat, 19th - episodes 4 and 5 Sun, 20th - episodes 6 and 7 But of course you can watch whenever you like! This is a very low pressure and fun event.
