i've noticed a severe lack of Dazey and the Scouts on the fediverse, which is criminal because the band's singular album literally (figuratively) rewired my brain chemistry!! Maggot is an album about being a teenager. it's sardonic and silly and upbeat and melancholic, it's young and it's queer and it's angry and it's horny. it feels like a cult classic but it came out in 2017. i will never be normal about this band. https://dazeyandthescouts.bandcamp.com/album/maggot #dazeyandthescouts #queercore #punk #music #maggot
