Some dude summed up my problem with replies on fedi. They were saying people converse in different "modes". Some conversations, but not all, are practical. "Here is a problem. How can we solve it?" a.k.a. expertise Some conversations are emotional. "This is what I am feeling. Do you feel something similar?" a.k.a. empathy There's other modes. And my general problem with replies is that they assume a practical conversation when I am almost always starting an emotional one.
