@yaxu Markdown to HTML and PDF UA (for accessibility) through Weasyprint works well. For math formulas and equation I think Typst can be integrated into the workflow.
Update @yaxu - I have experimented with inserting typst math equations both inline elements and blocks into markdown, and use a pandoc filter to call typst in the background to compile to SVG to achieve this, and finally getting it rendered as a PDF with Weasyprint. For me this is a reliable way to accomplish this when needed to and still being able to stick with Markdown. The elements can be styled and aligned with css. Hedgedoc and others can preview the blocks. If someone like Latex syntax I suppose they could use that as well
