Community organising is fucking exhausting. It won't stop me but damn, some people are hard work. So you have a better idea, eh? Well then why not just do it and stop complaining? Or carry on sniping from the sidelines. Which do you think would be most helpful?
"Someone should do something about that!". Do you really think so little of yourself that you don't realise you ARE the "someone" in this scenario? Or do you always need your arse wiping for you?

@ApostateEnglishman@mastodon.world There's a very tight correlation between useless and insufferable, both online and IRL. Online, I make liberal use of block or mute. IRL, I had to leave some groups I wound up in. It really wasn't tenable to be in like five different groups anyway, but it really helped me when a longtime activist here told me "Only stay in the groups that feed your heart." Wow, I needed to hear that.
