@maxleibman@beige.party I switched to an Eco Egg solution about a decade ago. No more consuming laundry detergent every wash! The balls (spherical or ovoid plastic) contain 2 different types of pellets, and one set needs to be replenished every so many washes. The pellets can be scented or unscented. Currently using one from https://aecodune.com/ (Provence, FR) I deal with the residual stink on sweaty clothes, by adding antibacterial laundry cleanser (Sanytol or generic) in the fabric softener drawer.
