If they take back anything, they’ll do exactly what they’ve done for the past 50 years of right wing power creep: wring their hands and talk about taking the high road and healing as a nation. We need a party that actually has the will to uphold laws. Impeach a president. Impeach congresspeople. Hold fucking trials. Throw fuckers in jail that belong in jail. We have a Supreme Court justice that has flagrantly taken bribes and refuses to recuse himself. Throw him in jail and say he can legislate from a steel toilet now. Just goddamn do anything.

And will then most likely proceed not doing that. The current dems are a punch of wimps who bow to the corporate interests, just like the republicans.
