If you really did this at work, make sure they know and report. Then you can get medical care on their dime. I’m only 40 but my body feels like I’m 80. I moved apartments 2 years ago, 3rd floor to 3rd floor. I literally almost died, my chest was pounding I couldn’t stand I was struggling to breath. I ended up laying on the floor for about an hour, being wiped with wet washcloths to stay cool and trying to drink plenty of water. Take care of your body, mine is too late but hopefully you still have time.

    If you have decent health insurance, DO NOT go through workers comp. “Their dime” isn’t worth 2¢ and they’ll delay so long irreversible consequences will result. If you fall and break your leg at work, drag your one-legged ass to your car, drive home, call an ambulance, and say it happened there then use your insurance. Never use workers comp unless you have no other choice. It’s not fair but it’s your health.
