Very unsettling moment today when I turned on my old laptop, which I had not used for about a year, and realized I had totally forgotten the password for my user name. (It’s a different password on the new laptop.) I was about to use #SystemRescue to manually change the password, then decided: well, let me try one variant of what I have been unsuccessful with. Luckily, it worked.
