Apparently that instance is defederated from Wafrn so I'll just say this reply here. I've been afraid that Linux has been moving in such a ridiculous direction where every program is its own container and everything else even before vibecoding became a thing purely because of the fact that a lot of people are for some reason deciding that OCI will solve every possible problem on Linux and therefore just make everything an OCI image don't ask just more containers. Needless to say I don't even have Flatpak installed on my system and even if Snap could run on s6 (it can't) I still wouldn't have it installed.

@daemonspudguy it's unfortunate that the only ABI in linux is the kernel-userspace interface, so everything ends up built out of entire OS distributions, yeah. agents aside, i think the trend toward stronger isolation and explicit permission boundaries around programs is the right thing to do, just for general security benefits, and because there are no trustworthy commercial developers left so the sandboxing is necessary to limit the damage and snooping they can do
