Anyone else found age freeing?

Aging has made me appreciate aging. So many of my loved ones many have not made it this far, to age is a blessing. Every year as I move towards the future I feel their losses even more, because I am not able to share my future with them. Cancer has made me appreciate my body for being able to do what I can still do. Being able to move is a blessing, I love and thank my body every day for carrying me this far. I just turned 48 yesterday, I am joyful to be alive, awake, and here, now. I feel like I have a whole other lifetime in front of me that will be quite different than the lifetime I had before and I just want to be here to appreciate it.
