@joepie91@fedi.slightly.tech @witix@mk.absturztau.be Again, as I've stated before. I disagree with Torvalds. But I don't think that it is intrinsically contradictory with the other statement. I personally oppose the use of genAI. I am not defending the use of AI.

@joepie91@fedi.slightly.tech @witix@mk.absturztau.be Someone can say they don't hate a technology. Without saying they like the industry behind it, the way it is used or the way it was created. And especially without being in favor of the harm those industries create. You can also argue by that logic that any person who is not a vegan but supports trans people is contradicting themselves because the bio industry is also a major supporter and source of funding for fascist parties like the AFD in Germany for example.
