@TheMNWolf@furry.engineer @kibcol1049@mstdn.social The annoying thing is that people equate gold with superior signal, but for least resistance I prefer silver, then copper. Gold is only really necessary in oxidating environments like outdoors, in a pool area, on a boat, etc.

@PopTarts@gaygeek.social @kibcol1049@mstdn.social The moisture in the air will do it eventually. It's just a matter of how long it takes in your particular climate. In Minnesota, one lousy winter is all it takes. I used to work in cell phone repair.
