Holy fvck. I just called to see how much home heating oil is and it is $6.49 a gallon in #AppalachianOhio today. That's over $1600 a fill-up.
The most we have ever paid to fill the tank was $700 #Ohio #USPol
You know how many ppl heat with oil the US, esp in the northern climates!
So glad it is our backup heat now and we put in the heat pumps over the past couple years!

@paul@oldfriends.live honestly didn't know anyone did home heating oil in Ohio. I thought it was all natural gas or propane.

2/ FYI, price increased over $100 since Friday if delivered today and no price lock-in. So, whatever the price is per gallon when he is done filling the tank is what we would be charged. We'll pass right now. It's backup heat. Thank you el Niño. lol https://oldfriends.live/@paul/117293165872010082
