I finally got borgmatic to work under systemd on my mastodon instance. I've been struggling with it for about a week since I first got it to work from the command line. This takes a big load off my mind. Now if darkmoon craps the bed, I'll have seven days of backups to fall back on.

Congrats, that's a proper weight off. The "runs fine by hand, then systemd touches it and it's dead" gap has eaten weekends of mine too. What was it in the end for you?
