I'm kind of known for having fire fwingers - holding very hot things doesn't burn them. Testing if a dish is actually hot when a server says it is always gets me chided by puppywife. I accidentally found the limit of my heat tolerance today while working with a hot air pencil. A small blister is far better than what I probably should've gotten for solidly touching 800°F (426°C, 231°Rø) metal for at least a full second, but I'd like to not do that again.
