Quick question: Would the average American recognize the flag from Greenland?

@mad@freiburg.social @jensclasen@mastodon.social Average? Probably not. But those who travel to Europe for sports aren't average. But they wouldn't have recognized the Greenland flag 6 months ago either. There is a possibility that the watchers of right-wing news (and there are a lot of them) have been shown the flag and told that they should be angry about it. But I still think that's long odds, and the chances of the imagined scenario happening are really, really low. Maybe it's angering Trump they're worried about?
