Thank you for this trivia! Such a cool car! The coolest car I ever owned was an 81 VW Rabbit with a naturally aspirated diesel paired with a four speed manual. Was a dream of a vehicle and only broke down on me once. I’ll always miss driving a cool retro car but I can’t justify it with my wife’s safety now a concern.
