@remi@urbanists.social yeah i glanced at this the other day and was annoyed by it so i pretended it hadn't happened an absolute bin fire of crap is hiding behind "creative commons" terms you want train formations? that's ok so long as you lose money. has to be non-commercial. you want passenger timetables? great! i hope you like losing money. has to be non-commercial! connection times? ... you get the picture CC licences were made by a cult of starving artists who wanted all other artists to starve @jon@gruene.social

Like Wikipedia, blogs, images, etc. There are just not fit for purpose for databases, I thought ODbL was more common for open data. It still blows my mind that the EU recognizes a sui generis copyright on databases, especially about public facts like train schedules. 🤯 Just so UIC can sell their crap overpriced schedule solution (I'll stop calling it crap when they achieve 100% correctness, that should be expected for this price).
